ASAS Packaging Printing Inc. is a part of Contantia Flexibles group, one of the global leading producers of flexible packaging. ASAS was founded with a capacity of 500 tons/ year in 1978 in Ankara. ASAS is one of the largest flexible packaging manufacturers in Turkey. Our activities include gravure printing, lamination, extrusion coating and laminating and wax coating.

Now, we are looking for a person who will join us forproduct engineering position. Our plant is located in Yenikent, Sincan.

Requirements

• University degree in the area of chemical engineering, metallurgical and materials engineering departments
• Excellent command of spoken English is a must (German knowledge is preferable)
• 4-5 years of experience in production departments
• Preferably have knowledge of nickel, copper and chrome plating
• Preferably having knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma Etc
• Multitasking and time management skills, ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications
• Good at coordination and collaboration

Key responsibilities and tasks:

• Analyzing the coating baths, filling the records and keeping track of the work done
• Controlling the copper hardness and cylinder surface of the cylinders produced
• Keeping track of production performance targets and to take necessary measures and actions
• To monitor the performance targets (increasing production, decreasing losses) of the production unit to which it is responsible and to take necessary measures
• Directing activities to improve process development, improve quality, increase productivity and provide a safe working environment
• Carrying out production according to the defined standards of process and taking actions to improve the process
• Reporting of production performance values, production presentation, monthly analysis and KPI reports,
• Being part of operational excellence projects such as Kaizen, 5S etc
• Coordinating the blue collar employees according to production plans and budgets
