QUALIFICATIONS

ATA Freight is an U.S. based global logistics provider with its own offices in USA, INDIA,TURKEY, CHINA, MEXICO and RUSSIA. ATA Freight has evolved from a traditional international freight forwarder to one of the leading global providers of innovative and fully integrated supply chain solutions. We are a certified NVOCC, one of the first members of C-TPAT, as well as IATA and FIATA members.

We are looking for Pricing Manager who will be a part of a team dedicated to building and protecting long term relationships.  The primary objective of the Pricing Manager will be to assist in procuring accurate and competitive rates for all services provided by ATA. The Pricing Manager will establish, maintain and analyze the most competitive market prices and makes recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions to be made by Pricing and Sales teams.

 -  He / She must be holding a University Degree.

-  Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

-  Min 10 years of experience in Pricing of International Shipping & Forwarding.

-  Must maintain a professional, positive attitude and demeanor, and have the ability to accurately execute multiple tasks.

-  Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving skills, and be detail-oriented.

-   Must possess excellent time management and organization skills.

-   Experience working in a deadline-driven environment preferred.

-   Able to interact with various personnel at customers/shippers, carriers/agents.

-   Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and in an organized manner.

-   Knowledge of international trade lanes is preferred.

-   Experience in multi-modal forms of transport (Air/Ocean, Import/Export, LCL/FCL) is preferred.

-   Free to have business trips inside and outside of Turkey, be able to adapt to flexible working hours.

-   Male candidates must have completed military service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

-  Responsible for creating quotations along with his/her team to assist sales proposals for company services.

-  Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with our Vendors to obtain the best prices available in our markets.

-  Responsible for creatively sourcing and securing new options for rates and contracts by reaching out to forge the initial contact with the Lines and Airlines involved in the import and or export of goods.

-  Responsible for validating sales quotations for profitability and validity.

-  Responsible for taking initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and target levels.

-  Responsible for timely and accurate updating of rates, including carrier, transit time, and validity in company logs and systems.

-  The Pricing Manager may also have additional responsibilities in accordance with supporting a specific department(s)/ division(s) and/or be tasked with specific, individualized assignments.
