Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will work for our wind turbine tower factory which is located at İzmir- Bergama.

Background

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Material, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fields

• At least 3 years of project management experience as multi-disciplinary project leader preferably within the wind energy sector

• APQP knowledge preferred

• Ability to work in a team environment and appropriately interact with all levels of the organization and represent the area in a professional manner,

• Ability to work under pressure, with multiple discipline projects

• Strong customer orientation

• Strong learning capability on projects, manufacturing process, analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

• Time management, decision making and leadership skills,

• Flexibility in working hours (Weekends, after shifts – if needed)

• Good knowledge of English both written and spoken (Candidates whose written and spoken English language level is not sufficient will not be evaluated)

• Experience in MS Office programs (Especially Excel, MS Project), Autocad

• No military obligation for male candidates

• Preferably residing / able to live on Bergama - Menemen route (We have shuttle services from Bergama, Aliağa, Menemen, Bornova, Karşıyaka and Çiğli routes)

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOM, purchasing list and other needed project documents

• Material requirement planning and follow-up with relevant departments

• Prepare and follow up project schedules, and work with the customer and the team to define and meet the requirements, scope and objectives for a project

• Lead and follow the project activities according to the timing plan and report the management

• Coordinate internal departments in order to achieve customer expectation

• Perform and follow up deliveries linked to transportation requirements

• Respond to the customer demands and requirements of the customer

• Communicate with Customers on a daily/weekly basis
