As Turkey's fastest growing online office supply company Avansas.com, we are looking for an "Online Merchandising Specialist" with the following qualifications.

Working within the UK Trade and Merchandising team and alongside the Avansas Turkey Trade team to source and develop the internationally sourced product assortment and supplier base in line with the UK assortment strategy. Sourcing quality Branded and Private Brand product from International Sources such as existing and new suppliers in Turkey, Eastern Europe, and the Far East.

Key Objective:

Work with the UK Online Merchandising Manager to continually improve and update all aspects of online content ranging from product descriptions and imagery to category SEO. Drive organic traffic, increase page views and visitor time on site. Building online campaigns and promotions, with the aim to cross and upsell across categories, to increase Sales Revenue, Average Order Value and Conversion Rate.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Build relationships with suppliers to collate accurate product data and inspirational content and promotions for the entire product assortment
• Monitor the complete and timely supply of all images and content related to the product or category provided by suppliers, controlling the quality and suitability of the incoming content
• Produce optimised content for product set up, including features & benefits, imagery, videos etc.
• Contribute to the achieving company targets such as sales, page views and conversion rate by monitoring and improving all the elements that will lead to increased sales and improve the consumer experience
• Implement and publish all visual and textual content in accordance with Assortment and Product Sales strategies
• Collate additional content such as buying guides, videos, additional images to improve the customer onsite experience
• Build datasheets for product attributes to manage product facets to improve the customer experience
• Build offline material for use in catalogues, flyers, brochures etc.
• Set up all administration related to product related campaigns e.g., Bundles, Promotion Rules, Coupon Codes etc.
• Update content messaging areas such as Homepage, Category Landing Pages, Product Listing Pages Pages, Campaign Landing Pages etc. to contribute to delivering category strategies
• Monitor price changes and update campaigns accordingly
• Work alongside key stakeholders on all merchandising requirements for marketing channel requirements such as SEO and email, social media etc.
• Take part in UX/UI projects that will improve customer experience by optimizing navigation, category trees and product sorting.
• Use Power BI to report on product/category/margin performance and provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns and promotions. Using the Power BI Web Merchandising tool on site performance to produce recommendations on improvements.
• Use Google Analytics to create Dashboards & Reports on KPIs - traffic, page views, time on site, conversion rate etc.
• Follow the content and visual trends of all categories and key competitor activities within the UK market.

Skills and Experience

• University graduate,
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an Online Merchandising Role in a Multi-Channel Online B2C/B2B business,
• Fluent/Advanced English language verbal and written,
• Articulate, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills,
• Track record of building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party organisations,
• Respectful, self-confident, and strong character with a hands-on approach to all tasks,
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and economically,
• Flexible approach to prioritisation and a team player,
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail,
• Dynamic, energetic, and positive minded character,
• Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
