We are seeking for an Actuarial Specialist.

• Statistics and Actuary oriented profile, with significant experience in a Financial or Actuarial function,
• Ability to adapt to a complex technical environment,
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus between commercial imperatives and research technical and operational profitability,
• Communication skills and knowledge of group facilitation techniques,
• Ability to explain, convince and persuade,
• Ability to inform and advise,
• Ability to set up constructive proposals,
• Ability to listen and analyse the stakeholders needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Analysing and monitoring the profitability of existing contract.
• To provide a response to requests for pricing new business from the Sales Management,
• Establishing quarterly technical provisions,
• To realize studies and analyses to support financial decisions,
• To insure relevant pricing offers with a constant overview of contracts profitability.
• To estimate actuarial liabilities and provision,
• He/she will manage a project with high technical added value aiming to change pricing practices,
• In order to move forwards a more specialized pricing practise, he/she must ensure control of so-called "customized" pricing for significant amounts businesses while ensuring industrialization or standart rates for the tariffs calculations,
• Coordinates the follow up of contracts and makes adjustment and arbitration proposals,
• Develops technical and financial elements/reporting for profitability required by management,
• Writes briefing notes and studies to support decision making for financial and general management,
• Drives the calculation of provisions for unearned premiums, provisions for outstanding claims and other technical provisions,
• Controls the homogenization of claims information data bases.
