QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a team member with below qualifications to work at Compliance & Data Privacy Protection Department located at Headquarter, İstanbul:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree; preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Law or related fields,
  • At least 3-4 years of work experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal Compliance, Internal Control or Financial Crime,
  • Familiarity with the laws and regulations the applicable to insurance (e.g.: anti-money laundering, data privacy, regulatory reporting, anti-corruption),
  • Required to have analytical thinking,
  • Must have an investigative profile with deeper attention to detail dynamic and have strong ability in reporting,
  • Ability to accept responsibility for a wide range of divergent tasks and activities across a broad range, producing coherent decisions and results,
  • Work under pressure and ability to manage multiple and varied tasks simultaneously so to comply with internal and regulatory deadlines,
  • Very good command of English,
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,
  • For male candidates, compulsory military service must be completed.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist in planning and implementing Compliance Plans, other Compliance deliverables;
  • Assist in compliance with AXA’s DP guidelines, governance policies and implements supporting processes and controls together with local and regional Data Privacy on Data Privacy Project; Take active role in the implementation and monitoring of data protection topics,  
  • Support in the evaluation of the impacts of newly issued regulations on new and/or existing products, services, and processes;
  • Perform independent second line controls to ensure the adequacy of business operating processes and activities;
  • Define, and periodically follow up, the remediation needed resulting from second line controls and key risk indicators;
  • Dealing with triggers following the regular screening process, either on customers or on transactions; 
  • Dealing with triggers related to client monitoring, which could be indicative for e.g. money laundering;
  • Assist in reporting flows on the main risks/impacts of non-compliance, locally and/or externally.
