General Qualifications

BEST Transformer, founded in 1966 in Balıkesir, produces oil immersed distribution transformers, power transformers, cast resin transformers, reactors, and mechanical components in its newly built and modernized -design, production, and testing departments.

We search for “Production Quality Control Leader” to enrich our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for performing quality control activities during production, transformer testing, supplier selection etc. at all stages, reporting, developing solutions for nonconformities, managing, and educating the employees under them.

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent command of MS Office tools
• Have 5+ experience of production quality control in transformer or electromechanical industry
• No obligation for military service (for male candidates)
• Having Driver License B
• Living in or willing to relocate to Balıkesir

Job Description

• Managing of production quality control activities
• Supervising and coordinating the quality control teams
• Managing the training of the team and instructions of quality processes
• Participation to factory and site inspections of the transformers and preparation of the quality reports
• Participation to customer audits and meetings
• Developing and controlling of implementation of the quality during production
• Monitoring, analyzing, and designing of processes and procedures related to quality and ensuring the correct application
• Driving lessons learned during production
• Reviewing, reporting, and managing the quality costs, implementing the corrective measures to reduce
• Managing and reporting of the internal and external non-conformities of processes and products
• Ensuring the non-conformance management
• Coordinating the quality activities with related departments within the organization
• Mitigating the risks by making root cause analysis and implementing corrective, preventive, and improvement activities
• Performing analysis by using 8D, fishbone and 5Why methodologies.Quality KPIs and problem-solving activities aligned with ISO9001 and internal procedures
• Verifying that quality requirements are implemented, through audits and reviews
