We are looking for plant manager for our yarn facility located in Turkey. This individual will  manage 7 WC and more than 200 BC employees and in charge of safety, quality and outputs of extrusion, twisting cabling, heatset and laboratory departments

Qualifications:

·       University graduate from a reputable university, preferably Textile, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering.

·       Will lead and direct safety, quality, production, maintenance and continuous improvement functions in plant

·       Hands-on experience on BCF yarn production with PP, PET,…

·       Strong technical knowledge on polymer processing

·       Experience in plant management (>5years)

·       Experience in product development is an asset

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills in English,

·       Have a strong safety mine set

·       Planning and organization skills to be able run and monitor the production process

·       Knowing lean management tools are advantage

·       Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)

·       Ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems

·       Capacity to grasp complex concepts easily

·       Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality

·       Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with team and management  

·       Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget at the right time

·       Ability to work under pressure and multitask

·       Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines

·       Results-driven approach to work

·       Ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.

Responsibilities:

·       Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met

·       Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations in coordination other production departments

·       Planning and organizing production schedules

·       Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

·       Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.

·       Determining quality control standards

·       Be responsible for production output, product quality

·       Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance

·       Implement preventive, predictive maintenance plans for production lines

·       Targets to ensure effective return on asset

·       Strategically manage departments in compliance with company’s policies and vision.

·       Prepare annual maintenance and capex budgets.

·       Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts

·       Supervising and managing the work of junior staff

·       Organizing relevant training sessions.
