• 2-3 years’ experience in Procurement
• 1-2 years’ experience to negotiate grain categories (asset)
• Native Turkish speaker, advanced in English, experienced on working with collaboration of the regional office
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Great negotiation & influencing skills
• Strong project & time management skills

Description

 
As part of the OneFoods/Banvit Procurement team, lead, develop, negotiate and implement grains negotiation in close collaboration with the main stakeholders (factories, R&D and QA).  Responsible for leading system design projects to improve the procurement processes and business results. Taking part in creating new ideas to data management issues and target tracing of procurement department. Developing required database and creating procurement performance reports to present to the procurement and the related departments in the region.
 
Responsibilities Areas

• Carry out the negotiation processes for the goods under his/her responsibility.
• Taking the relevant precautions due to provide a continuous supply at a required level of service and material quality. Moreover, taking the critical actions in case of any kind of supply problems.
• To make continuous analysis about the global and local market, economical changes and all related drivers to increase the decision quality in procurement strategies to create a sustainable competitive advantage to One Foods.
• To take an active role to create short-mid-long term procurement strategies and budgeting process of grains under his/her responsibility
• Lead or take an active role in improvement projects such as:
  • Increasing Payment terms
  • Improving Alternative suppliers/sources
  • Developing alternative materials and methods to save money and improve process and product quality.
• Create and manage the following data for procurement
  • Targets and results
  • Critical statistics platforms for critical ingredients
  • Database for budget and updated forecast prices
• Taking active role in master data management for procurement processes
• Providing periodical reports and basic presentations for the managerial level of company
• Others
  • Get quotation / negotiate with suppliers / validate with Stakeholders / approve negotiation as per Policy / Create PO and contract / Follow up delivering / treat divergences
  • Be guardian of Procurement Policy in the region
  • Contract managements
  • Inventory management according to the decided strategies

• Ability to direct the efforts of a team of diverse professionals and to manage change; 
• Confidence, ability to make presentations, to communicate and to handle people from different backgrounds; 
• Ability to influence and negotiate with people in all organizational levels, including technical areas and final users;
