Seed Development Manager

• Degree from a Agriculture Faculty Agronomist, very good knowledge about the seed business in general and in cotton and OSR seed business in particular.
• Knowledge of the Turkish seeds market. Work experience in seed business preferably cotton seeds.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Agricultural sector
• MS Office knowledge
• Analytical skills
• Advanced communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Knowledge about planning, conduction and evaluation of field trials
• Presentation skills
• Problem solving skills
• Local language -> fluent
• English -> very well on speaking and writing 

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure development, product placement, seed marketing and agronomic services for seed business. In a long term, be the technical expertise on seeds crop management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implementation of EMEA development plan for BASF Seeds in Aegean area
• Development and implementation of optimal appropriate marketing & trials plan in his area.
• Act as the main contact for the registration trials for local authorities.
• Record, file and analyse all the trials results and data in a precise way for use by the Head BASF-Seeds.
• Use all the available tools for data analysis
• Act as an advisor about cotton varieties and crop management. Be able to position the new varieties
• Identification and active pursuit of potential synergy and coordination with the existing local BASF local structure to improve performance and market position of BASF-Seeds.
• Support the regional sales team to achieve sales and market share targets.

General tasks and duties:

• Implementation of Marketing Plan in his area.
• Implementation of Local Development Plan and varieties Adaptation.
• Coordinate the country seeds development plan
