QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • University degree / master is desirable.
  • Launch experience, developing strategies and implementing tactics in successful OTC brands' launches
  • Proven track record of strong execution and results.
  • Creative thinker (e.g. experience in developing innovative marketing programs/campaigns; use of multichannel tactics).
  • Strong communication/presentation skills - including oral and written fluency in both Turkish & English.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset and results-oriented attitude.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.


Job Description

  • Establish and maintain relations with Global Strategic Marketing under supervision of Brand Manager and/or Category Head in order to develop understanding of global brand and NPD strategy, learn from success stories from other markets and align on local strategic plans & activities to build the brand(s), if applicable for global brands.
  • Establish and maintain close collaboration with all relevant departments ensuring common understanding of brand strategy and positioning, activity planning and competitor information/activities by regular training and product/marketing updates. Align the sales team on brand activities for each sales cycle through cycle meetings and regional visits.
  • Analyze market including competitor activities on regular basis to determine growth potential or unmet consumer needs (based on market research if required) and based on this propose new (product) ideas to grow the brand(s), if applicable taking Global NPD strategies into account.
  • Manage relations with KOLs and follow-up of their activities together with Brand Manager and/or Category Head, and support organization of national congresses, symposia and round-table meetings to support brand strategy and positioning in coordination with the Medical team (if relevant for brand).
  • Develop yearly BTL activity plan together with Trade Marketing and Sales team, and co-ordinate implementation of the plan throughout the year based Healthcare Professional (HCP) ideas developed in cooperation with agencies and/or Global Marketing Team (if applicable, in line with brand strategy and brand identity and compliant to local regulations and in close coordination with the Medical team.
  • Develop and pursue short & long-term marketing strategy of the brand(s) and manage brand life cycle under supervision of the Brand Manager and/or Category Head and analyze the development of brand(s) and its competitors throughout the year, proposing action if required.
  • Prepare yearly net sales, volume, pricing and P&I forecast of the brand(s) for budgeting purposes under supervision of Brand Manager and/or Category Head, in collaboration with the departments concerned, based on forecasted market size, market share and competitive development. And monitor achievement and supply forecast throughout the year and propose action if required. And achieve agreed brand financial targets.
