QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Bechalor degree level in Electronic Communication, Electronic, Computer, Industrial or relative engineering disciplines.
  • Certification level of CCNP is preferred
  • Strong communication skills both at an individual and team level.
  • Having strong ability on troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
  • Takes responsibility & feels accountable for own and team actions.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and be prepared to work outside normal working hours when necessary.
  • Has a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to be supportive, consultative and collaborative and to work effectively across national boundaries.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and Proactive in the working environment.
  • At ease and effective in operating in an international working environment.
  • Having technical knowledge and support experience of IPTV Technologies and protocols.
  • Experienced in CPE Environment such as Modem and STB including TR 69 & SNMP Protocols.
  • Experienced in IP Streaming Infrastructure, especially on Transport Stream.
  • MPEG, SIP, H248, HTTP,HTTPS, RTP, RTCP knowledge.
  • Depth knowledge on Networking Area including Multicast, Unicast, VLAN, VTP, Spanning Tree, QoS.
  • Knowledge on Security Firewall essentials.
  • Experienced in Browser Clients Technologies and Embeded Architectures.
  • Familarity with OS including the ability of analyzing on CPE Free BSD.
  • Must to have operational experience for IPTV Services in Telco Industry.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Having a valid driving license.
  • No restriction for both national and international occasional travel.

  • Job Details
 
  • Support ticket handling within SLA requirements.
  • Integration and configuration of technical architecture developments.
  • Troubleshooting the issues reported by the customer in timely manner, and escalating to the vendor when necessary.
  • Ensuring the cases are resolved completely, and in case of temporary solutions, following up the process until it resolves permanently.
  • Collecting / preparing the root cause analysis report and share with the customer.
  • Preparing health check analysis, highlighting the pain points and suggest remedies.
  • Preparing periodic reports and coordinating the customer meetings.
  • Analyzing system issues using related packet capturing and monitoring tools.
  • Working closely with solution, product, planning, business and the other technical departments as needed.
