THE DEPARTMENT & ROLE

The primary task of the position is to provide IT Service to Bestseller employees and partners locally in Turkey. The IT Supporter’s objective is to enable the end users in optimizing their performance by solving incidents and service requests to the agreed service level. In addition, advise and knowledge sharing must take place to make the users more independent from IT.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc degree in relevant areas
  • Experience in IT or Customer Service retail industry is a plus
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Proactive and self-starter approach
  • Proficiency in English and in German
  • No military service obligation for male candidates

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • To secure a high degree of service and support as IT Supporter in the Bestseller Global IT ServiceNow in Turkey, and take ownership of service requests by phone, email and walk-ins. Participate in development and maintenance of the technology platform, aligned with the overall IT strategy. 
  • Provide user friendly support via telephone, mail and walk-ins and register these in the ITSM system.
  • Provide daily user support via incident management process in ITSM system.
  • Actively participate in the development of processes and integration of new systems to support.
  • Installation of BESTSELLER IT network equipment in Turkey offices (server rooms and access points).
  • Distribute new inventory and ensure new employees have a network patch and can connect their equipment.
  • Preparation and installation of the BESTSELLER cash register system in both BESTSELLER owned shops as well as retail shops owned by partners (BOS and POS) + BETSELLER network access for external vendors’ equipment to ensure external vendor can setup media equipment, customer counters and other peripheral equipment not delivered by BESTSELLER IT.
  • Onsite support for users that cannot be solved by a remote service desk, including but not limited to: defect hardware, network patch issues and local software issues.
  • Provide Service on IT hardware including contact to vendors where service contracts exists.
  • Vendor service / laptops (on remote locations guide the user to coordinate with the vendor technician directly)
  • Improve and update the BESTSELLER IT knowledge management system
  • Assist in tickets where non-BESTSELLER IT software has been granted BESTSELLER server access and requires extended IT administration rights
  • First level support for wholesale customers, including but not limited to EDI, extranet, DIRECT etc.
  • Local intranet site user support.
