Purchasing Executive

We are looking for a full-time “Purchasing Executive” to join our team working in Chemical Industry located in Istanbul.  

• Graduated from Engineering departments (preferably) of reputable university,
• Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hardworking,
• Good command of both written and spoken English,
• Min. 8-10 years of experience in direct procurement activities preferably in Chemical Industry,
• High level knowledge about Procurement and Contract Management processes,
• Experience on Logistics, Customs and Import Operations,
• Experience in Capex, Investment, Indirect Purchasing would be an asset.
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers, 
• Strong analytical problem solving ability,
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker,
• Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude,
• Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, Access) and ERP Program,
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills,
• Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Strong analytical and organizing skills,

İŞ TANIMI

• Managing all purchasing activities for raw materials, commercial supplies of direct procurement for production requirements,
• Supporting the supplier evalution, pricing comparison for indirect sourcing for services as transportation,catering and security,
• Analyzing market and industry conditions , developing supply recommendations via finding new materials and/or new suppliers,
• Evaluating potential and active suppliers,
• Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments in order to improve operations
• Tracking and managing all export/import and custom operations for purchased assets,
• Managing of all third party logistics contractors,
• Tracking, monitoring all invoice processes in line with purchasing budget and company compliance tasks,
• To report to the Purchasing and Planning Manager.
