The Marketing Manager responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic resort hotel brands to improve their digital presence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and organize multiple strategic hotel marketing communications across multiple channels. This often includes promotions or special offers, and will leverage the hotel website.
- Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve traffic and performance of websites
- Monitor online campaigns regularly and make recommendations on goals to improve key performance metrics and drive revenue
- Contact and communicate with property teams on a regular basis to review website and campaign performances, suggesting additional online marketing strategies to improve conversion, ROI or other client objectives
- Keep current on the latest trends in the search marketing and hotel marketing industry
- Monitor performance and analyze social media success through regular ROI reports; formulate strategies to build on strengths and overcome weaknesses
- Act as hotel liaison for online agencies and third party vendors.
- Assist in or manage the creative development of support collateral creation, including e-mail campaign design, website design, profile page design, and various other digital marketing materials.
- Monitor online competitor presences/perceptions.
- Other marketing duties and responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hand on hotel/ hospitality digital marketing and
marketing experience
- Knowledge of SEM, search engine optimization , keyword analysis, etc.
- Knowledge of and experience in social media marketing (SMM) including : blogging, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and more
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
- Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing, and semantic search is a plus
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Superb communication skills and the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas,
- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to effectively address issues in collaboration with others and to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
- Ability to collaborate with others and act objectively to effectively solve problems and stay on track towards accomplishing organizational goals.
- Hotel marketing and branding experience
- Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) desired
- Strong knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Keyword Research (KWR), Pay-Per-Click campaigns (PPC) a plus.
- Familiarity with website design best practices, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop and SQL a plus
