Bitron Turkey, currently looking for “Direct Purchasing Engineer”for Manisa plant.

 QUALIFICATIONS :

·       University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering,

·       Minimum 3 years experience at Direct Purchasing,

·       Able to work under tight deadline, developing forecasts, negotiation skills, reporting skill, analyzing information, experience with a database management system,

·       Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point,

·       Excellent command of written and spoken English is an asset,

·       Good interpersonal skills, ability to work co-operatively in a multinational operating organization, team player,

·       Strong communication and presentation skills,

·       Analytical, result oriented, careful, responsible,

·       Excellent problem-solving skills,

·       Demonstrate professional judgment / use expertise to make recommendation or decisions,

·       Valid driving license, no restrictions to travel,

·       Currently residing or able to reside in Manisa & İzmir,

·       No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

·       Make Market search to find, analyze and propose alternative suppliers & contractors,

·       Conduct price negotiations, offer requests, ordering, order monitoring, delivery processes until procurement is completed,

·       Preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements, follow sampling process,

·       Communicate with suppliers related to claims and complaints,

·       Monitor supplier performance to ensure it meets or exceeds company KPI,

·       Contribute to prepare the required reports to support the team’s execution,

·       Monitor market trends like commodity pricing and material escalation,

·       Develop cost reduction strategies and ensure cost reduction targets are achieved.
