STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS :

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 • Structural design and modeling of a wide variety of structures including high-rise, low-rise, residential, commercial, or industrial buildings in virtually every building material available
 • Work collaboratively with structural engineers, architects, and other engineers
 • Work on projects that are strictly structural in nature as well as multidiscipline projects
 • Perform structural calculations, and produce designs
 • Perform analysis and design of 2D and 3D structural models using software packages
 • Draft structural drawings and work with draftspersons to get designs on structural drawings
 • Ensure building integrity according to building codes requirements
 • Perform reviews of technical drawings and project specifications to ensure structural integrity
 • Ensure projects are up to code and on schedule

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EDUCATION

 • Applicants must be fluent in English
 • Required: BS in structural or civil engineering (with a structural concentration) from an accredited school
 • Preferred: MS or PhD in structural engineering
 • Knowledge of various structural analysis/design software is preferred (ETABS, SAP2000, ADAPT-PT/RC, RAM Elements, ENERCALC, spCOL, etc.)
 • Working knowledge of Revit is preferred
 • Advanced knowledge in Excel and VBA programming language is preferred
 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 • Ability to multi-task in a sometimes-fast paced environment
 • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
