Job Description

The Tower Operator at Yalıkavak Marina is responsible for managing the safe and orderly marine traffic of yachts entering and leaving the marina.

Key duties include:

Managing yacht entry/exit traffic and ensuring safety,

Coordinating radio communication with the Front Office and Harbour,

Cooperating with the Marina Security Team to support overall safety,

Responding to yacht owners’ requests, complaints, and service needs,

Maintaining and ensuring the proper use of equipment, machinery, and devices,

Delivering services in line with established quality standards,

Performing other tasks assigned by the manager.

General Responsibilities

Comply with company procedures and policies,

Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety rules,

Follow security protocols,

Maintain professional conduct and appearance standards,

Prepare reports regularly and on time.

Qualifications

Minimum associate degree in a relevant field,

B2 level English proficiency,

Strong command of MS Office programs,

Preferably holding a seaman’s or diver’s license,

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and representation skills.

Managing marina vessel traffic based on safety, precise timing, and maneuver suitability; systematically tracking reservation and operational processes; and possessing strong task-follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out administrative and maritime-related services in accordance with Marina Management’s instructions, ensuring order and safety,

Providing services in line with customer needs and addressing their requests,

Monitoring and submitting reporting processes accurately and on time.

Reports to be Prepared

Harbour Control Checklist – prepared daily,

Fire Pedestal Station Control Form – prepared weekly,

Various Daily, Monthly, and Annual Reports – prepared as needed,

Diving Activities Control Form – prepared at designated intervals,

Yacht Entry and Exit Logbook – kept daily.
