The person in this position is responsible for providing first-class team member relations services to the team members and management team to deliver an excellent team member experience while assisting with Human Resources strategy with Hilton values.

What will I be doing?

Assistant Human Resources Manager reports to Director of Human Resources.

Assistant Human Resources Manager will be required to act as deputy Director of Human Resources in his/ her absense; support employee relations and ensure compliance with team member training requirements. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Provide and deliver first-class Team Member Relations services to team members and management team
  • Provide and deliver first-class Team Member Relations services to team members and management team
  • Assist Human Resources Director with Human Resources strategy including succession planning for team members
  • Manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinary, grievances, and capability
  • Take role in candidate interviews and hiring process
  •  Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate legal checks are carried out
  •  Support achieving departmental goals
  •  Support the Assistant L&D Manager to achieve departmental training requirements
  •  Control costs when possible and assist in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets
  •  Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines
  •  Follow-up and give all support for the duties of all HR Team Members
  •  Assist and resolve team member and management queries
  •  Assist Director of Human Resources in HR related matters

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in hotels in the similar role
  • Excellent command of Turkish and English
  • University degree
  • Knowledge of Turkish Labor Law and regulations
  • IT proficiency- Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work on their own or in teams
  • Positive and outgoing attitude
