We are looking for a " Site Civil Engineer ”at Çanakkale for Borusan EnBW Energy.

(Fixed-term contracted for 16 months "4 months at İstanbul Headquarter, 12 months at Çanakkale Saros SEPP Project Site" ) 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering departments of universities,
• Minimum 3 years of experience (Experience on Solar Power Plant Construction is a plus)
• Capable of supervision of civil works of Solar Power Plants and Quality Assurance and Quality Control works on site.
• Knowledge and ability to use Autocad (Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Netcad is a plus)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Awareness of local Health and Safety rules and regulations and has proactive behavior
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• No travel restrictions and Driving License (for active use)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Review construction drawings and crosschecks with other interface drawings (i.e. electrical, civil and mechanical drawings) in coordination with other engineering teams
• Monitor, supervise and control the construction works carried out on site according to schedules
• Prepare detailed schedules for contractors
• Supervise and control civil works carried out on site according to agreed technical specifications, standards and Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements
• Ensure compliance of all civil works according to the contract, current legislation and control on site (earthworks, site roads and drainage systems, installation of solar mounting structure, construction of warehouse, cable trenches, all civil works, installation, testing, commissioning etc.).
• Participate in site management team meetings and proactively act on project issues
• Report to site manager during site works all civil works activities regularly (incl. progress, deviations, forecast to completion and issues)
• Coordinate contractors to ensure site works are completed on time and on budget without any issues
• Examination of the design documentation/drawings prior to execution of every task related to construction works and perform corrections as necessary
• Prepare and review the as-built projects
• Representation of the company in governmental and private companies, institutions, etc. as required 
• Ensure proper project documentation
• Develop and manage improvement projects when necessary
• Control and ensure earth work calculation is performed accurately (by contractors)
• Participate in controlling and pre-approval of progress reports (incl. payment report) of related contractors 
• Share know-how with other construction and engineering teams (incl. lessons learned)
