R&D Senior Specialist

We are looking for a “R&D Senior Specialist” who will join the R&D Center of our company which operates in automotive supply industry while being the largest engine valve manufacturer in Turkey.

The candidates who would like to look at the e-mobility transformation of the automotive industry with the eyes of an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplier and to be a part of this transformation while pursuing her/his career in one of the biggest industrial groups of Turkey should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, (Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronics, Aeronautics or related)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive, Defense or Aeronautics industries,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D and/or Design Center management, national/international R&D funding programs (TUBITAK TEYDEB,Horizon 2020, Era-Net, Euripides, Eureka, etc.) and investment funding,
• Experience in filing and application of national and PCT patent applications,
• Experience in working with academicians and TTOs within the scope of university-industry collaboration,
• Experience in Project Management with Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies,
• Ability to follow the trends in R&D, Innovation and Technology subjects,
• Experience in working with production teams, 
• Having strong written, oral, & presentation skills,
• Residing in the European side of Istanbul.

Job Description:

• Managing R&D Center projects and processes,
• Managing national/international R&D and investment funding processes,
• Being responsible for conducting Lean 6Sigma projects,
• Being responsible for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) processes,
• Taking an active role in intracompany innovation activities,
• Following and periodically reporting of the industry-specific trends,
• Taking an active role in the determination of short, medium and long-term R&D strategies of the company,
• Preparing reports and presentations regarding the R&D and Lean 6Sigma projects.
