Planning Engineer

We are looking for a "Planning Engineer" to be assigned to our company's Gemlik location.

• Bachelor's degree preferably from engineering departments
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning and raw material planning,
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, preferably Axapta
• Strong planning and communication skills,
• Having an analytical perspective, developed relationship management skills, development-oriented

Job description

• Making production programs according to capacity constraints for the lines it is responsible for, determining the raw material needs, creating short, medium, and long-term resource capacity plans and strategies,
• Preparing, scheduling, and sharing weekly production schedules with the relevant departments to ensure the most effective use based on machine, station, process, and line
• Monitoring and measuring process performances related to production and raw material planning and analyzing and reporting the results,
• Following up the instant production deviations and revising the plans when necessary,
• Ensuring the implementation of FIFO in the use of raw materials to minimize warehouse and other stocking costs
• Identification of improvement issues, execution efficiency, and reporting of  projects
