QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
• University degree (M.Sc. degree preferred) in Mechanical Engineering department
• At least 2 years of work experience in Research and Development department
• Possess fundamentals in thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics
• Knowledge/experience on design of experiment (DoE)
• Knowledge/experience on Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Knowledge/experience on experimental study
• Knowledge/experience on uncertainty analysis
• Knowledge/experience on measurement techniques
• Knowledge/experience on MS Office applications
• Fluency in English is a must. German will be an asset
• Be responsible for development tests of hydraulic module and hydraulic components (i.e.circulator, plate heat exchanger, diverter valve)
• Collect customer requirements
• Derive technical specifications for component, module & appliance with regards to customer requirements and relevant norms/standards
• Prepare test plans, design test set-up's,
• Perform verification tests, comprehend test results and prepare test reports
• Contribute in S-FMEA and D-FMEA sessions
• Work on quality and cost improvement activities
• Prepare work plans in accordance with project time, quality and cost targets and perform accordingly.
