Job Description
We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Production Engineer.
Your contribution to something big:
- Support of manufacturing operations in the production of High Pressure Units, Manifolds and Lineer Guides products by improving Safety, Ergonomics, On Time Delivery (OTD), Productivity and increasing yields of manufacturing activities.
- Identifying and development of all production, assembly & test processes and procedures, assurance that products are produced in most safe and economical proficient manner.
- Ultimate quality characteristics and product design integrity must be adhered to provide guidance and knowledge to the plant for project management, technical and budgetary decisions.
- Ensure all relative routings, fixtures, tooling, procedures, processes, etc. are appropriately and safely in place for manufacturing.
- Plan, manage and oversee production
- Focus on reduction in process variation, waste reduction, standard work creation, preventative maintenance, process and quality upsets
- Generating production documentation such as assembly instructions
- Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow,
- Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities
- Carry out FMEAs, (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) process documentation and implement improvements
- Establish and follow up safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.
- Follow product specifications and quality control measures
- Train, supervise, and manage production line workers to accomplish production goals and 5S and Health & Safety
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 5+ years professional production and planning experience (Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
- Experience in Hydraulic Systems is an advantage.
- SAP knowledge especially for production and planning modules
- Advance in English
- Experience in production, planning, lean manufacturing and strong leadership for at least 100 people in production
- Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Independently determines approach and assigned tasks, Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point.
