Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Calibration Engineer.

Your contribution to something big:

• Calibration and Application services for customers across Turkey in the Off-Highway business, Commercial vehicles and Passenger cars
• Technical contact person for customer teams and worldwide Bosch teams
• Analysis and troubleshooting for engine controls SW and calibration
• Contribute to the data driven business for data analytics.
• Developing software that keeps and process tabular measurement data
• Optimization according to engineering targets regarding performance, fuel consumption, engine/vehicle emissions, start ability, function safety and diagnostic functions.
• Programming (fine tuning) of test programs for optimization under automatic operation.
• Evaluation, presentation and reporting of powertrain & vehicle test results.
• Troubleshooting on customer sites.
• Validate calibration to meet customer expectations and legal requirements.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• BS/MS or equivalent engineering degree in mechatronics, controls, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or related technical field is preferred.
• At least 3 years software development experience in Python
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, etc
• Experience in image processing and machine learning approaches
• Ability to write clean, modular, well-commented, readable, and reusable code
• Knowledge on powertrain control and calibration
• Knowledge of Automotive SW Tools such as Inca, ATI Vision, CanAlyzer, etc)
• Basic know how for Electrification/Hybridization, ACE SW & Service
• 2 or more years of experience with electrified and/or ICE powertrain technologies (experience can include co-op, internship, professional experience, or experience with Formula SAE, Formula Hybrid, SolarCar, FutureCar, EcoCAR or other vehicle).
• Strong analytical and technical skills with respect to problem solving
• Experience with data acquisition tools
• Independent and flexible working style
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
• Driving License, ability and willingness to travel
• Fluency in English (German is an asset)
