Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Health and Safety Engineer.

The position is located in Bursa at our Powertrain Solutions Plant.

Your valuable contribution as officially certified safety specialist:

• Performing risk analysis, hazard assessment  for the area of responsibility
• Designing workplaces based on EHS (local,and universal) requirements
• Determining requirements for machines and  equipments based on EHS (local and universal) requirements and standards
• Defining preventive measures and actions for fire protection
• Implementing legal requirements to the regulations under the area of responsibility
• Hazardous chemical management 
• Sensitizing and training employees 
• Preparing and performing internal assessment/audit
• Designing EHS Method Descriptions (Regulations) for the area of responsibility
• Defining preventive measures to prevent work accidents & improving work accident performance in the area of responsibility
• Performing sub-contractor audits
• Performing chemical acceptances by defining the requirements and preventive measures for the usage

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Official safety specialist certificate (min C, preferably B or A)
• Fluent in Turkish & English & plus German (Good or Beginner level) is an asset
• Min. 5 years experience in similar work environment
• Very good communication skills 
• Continuous learning and improvement approach
• Eager to learn and track the new requlations and legal requirements
• Analytical thinking and problem solving ability
• Moderation and presentation ability 
• Able to work as a  team
• Flexible about working hours
• Knowledge about below certifications* for quality system auditing are assets:
• ISO9001*, ISO14001*, OHSAS18001*, ISO45001* Management System,
• 16949* Automative Quality Management System
• Auditor experience is preferable
