R&D Validation and Test Engineer

Job Description

Your valuable contribution to something big:

• Planning of product validation tests according to product & system requirements
• Performing test or commissioning of tests according to time schedule and test specifications
• Inspection and analysis of the components
• Root-cause analysis of failures, e.g. wear, cavitation, particle
• Analysis of data from measurements of hydraulic performance, surface profiles, EDX-spectroscopy, SEM
• Interpretation and evaluation of testing data, summarizing the results into an investigation report
• Working as a product safety engineer, technical expertise in / understanding of content for the safety concept and its functions
• Independent coordination/discussion with the customers written of explain the safety concept to the customer and represent it vis-à-vis the customer, if necessary, can coordinate customer-specific adaptations closely with the platform development
• Work in close collaboration with test technicians, instrumentation, reliability and design teams as well as in an International Engineering Network
• Making improvements to equipment and processes with AI4.0 approach

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Bs or higher degree in Mechatronics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Experience with inspection of steel components/materials is an asset
• If possible experience in Automotive Engineering, Fuel Injection / Fuel Cell Systems and product safety concept
• Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish and English and/or German
• Programming skills, if possible experience in data science
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a team
• Methodical and structured work habit
• Enthusiastic for engineering as well as Information Technology (IT)
