Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Design Engineer.

Your contribution to something big:

• Understands the needs of customers through investigation in requirements and brings solution proposals
•  Creates alternative design solutions, performs concept comparison and defines the comparison criteria
• Creates, reviews, maintains 3D models and 2D draftings, technical specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Determines, performs all necessary engineering calculations, validation tests and reporting
• Makes sure of compliance with all relevant internal/external norms and guidelines
• Focuses on technical risks in a structured way, brings smart actions and communicates with stakeholders
• Prepares design reports showing all tolerance calculations (from TRMs), proof of special characteristics definitions and design activities
• Attends technical discussions with suppliers, directs discussions within the cost and quality targets
• Plans and carries out work packages in area of responsibility as a "design team member" within local and international project teams.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Mechanical Engineering background
• At least 3 year experience in  similar position with "Mechanical Design" and "Mechanics of Materials" knowledge
• Sheet metal knowledge preferred
• Strong technical background and analytical thinking skills in highly agile environment
• Advance English level
• Able to work within international project teams with very good communication skills
• Experience with CAD tools (preferably UniGraphics NX and TCE), SAP, MS Office  

• Knowledge on geometrical dimensions and tolerance calculation
