Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Design Engineer

Your contribution to something big:

* Creates alternative design solutions, performs concept comparison and defines the
comparison criteria
* Prepares technical specifications with guidance of responsible engineers/experts.
* Organizing/Reviewing 3D modeling and drafting tasks with design drafters
* Perform tolerance and engineering calculations
* Utilizes and teaches existing calculation tools
* Part and BOM introductions, ECR preparations, MOS preparations, reviews and comments on ISIR
* Makes sure of compliance with all relevant internal/external norms & guidelines
* Technical Risk Management (S/D-FMEA) participation and review
* Brings all focus points from the focus matrix to technical risk management, aligns focus matrix with TRM
* Critically contributes to technical discussions, able to define and apply proper preventive and detection actions
* Prepares design reports showing all tolerance calculations (from TRMs), proof of special characteristics definitions / design activities
* Attends technical discussions with suppliers, directs discussions within the cost and quality targets

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Mechanical Engineering background
• At least 2 year experience with similar position in R&D
• Strong technical background and analytical thinking skills
• Good command on English both written and spoken
• Able to work within international project teams with very good communication skills
• Result orientation
• No restriction to travel
• No military service obligation

Auxiliary Requirements:
• Experience with CAD tools , preferably UniGraphics NX and Teamcenter
• Familiarity & experience with SAP
• Familiarity & experience with FMEA, FAM, 8D,etc... engineering tools
• Knowledge on geometrical dimensions and tolerance calculation
