İŞ TANIMI

Purpose of Role:

Financial Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring that transactions and significant events are recorded in accordance with external and internal accounting standards.
Job holder provides expertise in Aviation Stock Accounting area and supports the Process Lead in managing complex and escalated issues, performing troubleshooting and supporting operations delivery, quality management and control.

Key Accountabilities Expected from Role:

oAdhering with the tasks outlined in the EMS/QMS Systems of GBS Istanbul
oPerform Stock accounting transactions including recording and reconciling inventory movements and other stock operations for Air BP business
oPerform Stocks month-end closing activities, controls and reports
oIdentify errors or un-reconciling differences and ensure timely resolution, perform root cause analysis and apply appropriate solutions
oInvoice matching to ensure the correct classification
oPerform Stock valuation
oReconcile the relevant systems and journals, ensure that updates are made regularly and in a timely manner
oAllocate sales figures based on location and publish reports
oPrepare Aviation stocks report and share with Aviation Financial Controller as an input for Aviation actuals reporting
oLead and support internal/external audits, identify and control risk, drive incident investigation
oSupport the Lead FA Analyst in monitoring all Inventory Accounting processes, controls and improvements
oAct as subject matter expert for Aviation systems and processes, provide advice and information to staff and business partners
oConduct control activities such as due diligence, ensuring compliance and monitoring internal control effectiveness
oEstablish and maintain strong business engagement with business units and stakeholders
oBe the focal point for all Inventory accounting issues for Air BP
oAnalyse, determine root cause and apply appropriate resolutions to issues and problems
oAct as back-up for HVC Financial Controller
