QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Having entered the chemical distribution business in 1912, afterwards seeking a worldwide range of expansion meanwhile founded also in Turkey, in 2005; recording significant progress in the development of a continuous business focus with respect of quality and customer satisfaction now looks for an hands-on Account Manager for Cosmetics & Cleaning who will be an intricate part of the commercial perception, responsible for developing and delivering value-added sales activities to our company’s daily practice.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIRED BUSINESS ACUMEN

 

- Developing a growth & margin-oriented strategy focused both on lucrative financial gain and customer satisfaction upon raw material sales in Cosmetics & Cleaning industries.

- Promoting formulations / new raw materials referring to the customer current projects or proactive approach to develop new business / trends market presentations to the customers.

- Research of the current market conditions + following the competitor prices and the competitor’s new launches.

- Following the finance status /payment schedule of the customers.

- Finding solutions to customer payment problems.

- Searching new potential customers& decide on price and sales strategies.

- Communicate with the suppliers on the technical promotion, new launches and promote to the team and to the customers in his/her portfolio.

- Travel abroad to the supplier training meetings and technical seminars, to the related market global and local fairs and participating to the webinars, teleconferences with the suppliers.

- Report to the suppliers quarterly with the customer feedback to the project pipelines, report the monthly sales figures and give feedback concerning the competition in the market /potentials

- Hosting the supplier in our office / organising customer visits with the suppliers; taking customers to the distributor training programmes in case of project based needs.

- Regularly reporting/meetings with the Sales Manager/Business Manager.

- Tracking customer fragrance project briefs with the team and managing the project and coordination with the supplier&customer concerning the application samples and the fragrance oils related and tracking & reporting the price target/potential/technical aspects in the application/forecast to the supplier.

- Updating the local fragrance library regularly upon market needs and promote the fragrances in the sales team to develop new business/projects.

- Fragrance evaluation /smelling of the samples and leading the team due to the fragrance directions/notes and lead the projects.

- Delivering accurate sales forecasts on a periodic basis and establishing/managing financials for the business area. 


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, preferably from reputable universities.

- 3-6 years of trackable experience in raw material chemicals sales in Cosmetics & Cleaning industries, account management, planning and implementing sales strategies.

- Fluency in English and excellent numeric and financial-reinterpretation skill set.

- Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in customer management with excellent communication and process management skills.

- Strong commercial outlook and sales approach to account management.
