We are looking for an hands-on Product Purchasing Specialist for Food and Nutrition, who will join our team with product manager job specification in the department.

Our new Product Manager will be part of a multifunctioning team-mentality. There will be a continuous interface between this individual, his/her supervisor and other members of the sales and product management team who need to be kept informed of pertinent sales activities and issues. 

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIRED BUSINESS ACUMEN

Developing and implementing food ingredients on the basis of the business unit BSP EMEA Nutrition strategy

Purchasing and sourcing food ingredients and relevant other chemicals, checking stock levels

Making market and competition analyses concerning relevant food ingredients

Monitoring sales development and activities with defined KPIs  and thriving to improve in collaboration with sales

Keeping required records of all data and maintaining trustworthy feedback for sales teams

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors Degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering Or Chemistry, preferably from reputable universities.

- 3-6 years of trackable experience in product management food ingredients sourcing in an multinational company (environment)

- Fluency in English and excellent numeric reinterpretation skill set.

- Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in with excellent communication and process management skills.
