BAT TURKEY IS LOOKING FOR ANOERATIONS DBS BUSINESS ANALYST

As an Operations Business Analyst you will be responsible to capture, understand and manage business requirements & processes and identify business technology solutions and/or process opportunities, which deliver value within agreed timelines and budget across BAT Operations (Manufacturing & Quality, Planning & Forecasting, Supply Chain and Logistics, EH&S, and Serialization and Track and Trace).

You will be working closely with business & IDT managers to scope, plan, design and implement solutions within agreed timelines and budgets, managing stakeholders at multiple levels within a matrix organization.

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

• Lead / contribute to:
• Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting & documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation
• Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business
• Providing input to and/or assist in ensuring compliance with agreed best practices
• Preparing account plans, budget proposals, resourcing plans and project plans
• Creation and maintenance of IDT strategies
• Identifying and proactively raising and managing risks and issues impacting the execution of strategic / operational / project plans
• Understanding the overall Enterprise Architecture and assess degree of conformance of existing and new business processes
• Overseeing implementation of solutions – ensuring delivery of maximum value against project objectives, budget and mandate
• Responsible and single point of contact for Operations portfolio of IDT projects within the area for area level leadership teams (IDT and Business).
• Play a key role in planning, preparing, communicating and eventually safe landing of all global projects within geographic area of responsibility, working closely as required with global teams, central programmes and BAU organisations towards successful delivery

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE BENEFICIAL

• Strong Business-facing IDT experience in a global environment at mid or senior managerial level, preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline.
• Ability to interpret the business IT and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions
• Extensive and substantial practical experience in interpreting business process management and business metrics
• Understand the background, issues and implications of company and functional strategic imperatives
• Solid practical experience in executing change & transformational projects underpinned by IDT technology related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Extensive core experience within SAP, Logistics Execution, MES, Serialization and Track & Trace Systems
• Experience working with Data and Analytics or ETL tools (preferably experience with Data & Analytics projects) will be considered also a big plus
• Experience working with Agile methodology and ways of working

ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Expected to be playing a business facing role, facing off to local and area level Operations and IDT leadership teams
• Practical application in the field of business models, business requirements, business analysis and deep knowledge related to IDT solutions applicable to Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Practical experience in executing change & transformational projects underpinned by IDT technology related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Good grasp of Manufacturing and Supply Chain business models and related value add IDT capabilities

CORE RELATIONSHIPS

• Enterprise Architects – understand overall enterprise architecture and collaborate to ensure conformance of to the architecture
• Solution Delivery – collaborate to ensure solutions meet the business requirements
• Project Managers – contribute to project plans and ensure deliverables are produced to time, cost & quality
• Planning – support the development of IDT plans and budgets
• Business Partners and Business Unit IDT managers – collaborate on the provision of professional BA services in line with agreed priorities of the business
• Business units (area end markets) / Business Functions - work closely to develop business requirements and oversee implementation of solutions
• IDT functional managers / Project Managers / Business reps – collaborate in the execution of planning and analysis services and delivery of required outputs
• 3rd Party Vendors – non-commercial supplier relationships focussed on operational / project activities
