QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Profile
/ Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar field of engineering), Masters Degree preferred
/ 3 years working experience in development and design of consumer products (experience in home appliances is a plus)
/ Fluency in English language is a must. Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills
/ Broader knowledge in CAD (preferably UniGraphics / NX), Teamcenter,SAP, MS Office applications, BSH internal systems and production methods (i.e. sheet metal, foaming, injection,….)
/ Co-operating with different departments and production locations internationally; working with development projects (local and international)
/ Analytical and Result-oriented thinking, team-player, self-managed, assertive, able to work with deadlines, intercultural awareness

/ Development and Design (3D-CAD modelling and drawings) of complex components, assemblies, systems, sub-modules/modules and appliances according to the BSH product development processes. Recognition of critical parts and assemblies, generation and analysis of tolerance studies
/ Creation of specifications for parts and systems, including target costing, also to support purchasing (request for quotation) and creation and maintaining BOMs
/ Implementation of new and changed parts into production, preparing Engineering Change Requests (CR)
/ Release of newly developed or changed parts or appliances after testing (part release process)
/ Project management as far as task related (deadlines, driving tasks, managing small budgets/timelines)
