We are searching for a R&D Specialist based in Istanbul (European Side).

Job Responsibilities

•   Working on the study and design of components of elevators supporting quality and cost-driven modifications of the product, as well as new and original design solutions,
•    Making standardization studies and working with global OTIS teams
•    Using 3D CAD for the preparation of the models and configuration rules of the components,
•    Working with factory and field teams (quality department, factory engineering, supply chain, sales and field), to follow and support the implementation of the modification in all its phases,
•    Field visits periodically, no travel restrictions, having valid driving licence.

Experience and Qualifications     

• Bachelor degree in Engineering field (Prefably Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering departments),
• Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling (preferably Creo),
• Skill with reviewing technical drawings,
• Profiency of using MS Office and Autocad,
• Proven history of on-time project delivery,
• Preferably familiarity with elevator components,
• Knowledge of materials characteristics,
• Ability to approach the job with a sense of ownership and a stake in the outcome of their work,
• Champion of process improvement,
• Ability to work with minimal direction, self-starter
