We are seeking  Business Intelligence Consultants who are willing to join our high performing consulting team.

Candidates are required to have the following qualifications:

• Graduated from Engineering department (preferably computer engineering) of a reputable university,
• 2+ years of working experience in the field of Data Management and/or  Business Intelligence,
• Being motivated to be an M-Shaped Professional who can bring together several technical capabilities and business know-how to transform big data into business insights,
• Not only having experience in agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, but having deep understanding of Agile Manifesto and Agile Mindset,
• Being motivated to be assigned to different kind of responsibilities in an Agile Organization,
• Being familiar with fundamental concepts such as Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Integration, Conceptual/Logical/Physical Data Modeling, Self Service BI, Visual Analytics, Data Governance, Data Quality, Regulatory Reporting etc,
• Understanding Structured Query Language (SQL) and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS),
• Having Logical and Physical Data Modeling knowledge on both Dimensional Models and ER Models,
• Being familiar with Data Modeling Tools (like Erwin Data Modeler, Sybase Power Designer etc),
• Being familiar with BI Tools (like Business Objects,Cognos, Tableau etc),
• Being familiar with ETL Tools (like ODI, Informatica, DataStage, OWB etc),
• Being familiar with Self Service Data Manipulation Tools (like Knime, SPSS, Alteryx etc),
• Excellent problem solving, documentation, communication and presentation skills,
• Good command of English,
• No obligation for travel in Turkey or abroad.

Job Description

• Working on complex, sector and department-wide business intelligence solutions,
• Assessing current technical environment, governance policies and procedures to make recommendations and provide best practices,
• Working closely with the business users to understand customer’s strategy, data needs and providing subject matter expertise,
• Empowering business users to gain self-service capabilities with less IT support while deep diving into data,
• Analyzing business processes and source system data to identify data quality issues and gaps between the business requirement and the data,
• Reporting data quality issues to both data owners and technical responsibles,
• Refining business requirements through collaboration with business users and IT stakeholders,
• Building a prototype using SQL to visualise business needs,
• Building Data Warehouse and Datamart Models on data modeling tools,
• Designing data manipulation jobs and data quality procedures.
