We are looking for a Technical Procurement Assistant Specialist-Mechanical in Çalık Enerji Headquarters – Oil&Gas Projects located in Istanbul;

Purpose of Role: Assist to Technical Procurement Chief for the administration of the technical procurement processes for company’s existing and new Oil & Gas Projects to ensure long term contract performance success. This position is responsible for assistance to technical procurement management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Good command of English both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and organization skills with independently working capability.
• No restriction to travel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist to Technical Procurement Chief or lead for administration of timely submission of assigned mechanical procurement packages deliverables including but not limited to RFQs, Bids, Acknowledgement Letters, Technical Bid Evaluation Reports, Orders, Vendor Data and Drawings, Equipment and Materials Delivery at site and their timeframes in accordance with project schedules.
• Participate in regular project reviews helping to identify opportunities and risks to Projects’ procurement performance.
• Assist to Technical Procurement Chief in preparing road map to manage risks and opportunities for Projects’ procurement performance and executing on strategies including appropriate correspondence, record keeping, meetings and pro-actively follow up to a suitable conclusion
• Assist in developing standard RFQs, contract/purchase order templates for a Project and ensure flow down of prime/EPC contract requirements to vendors by reviewing identifying, highlighting, and processing.
• Liaison with the project management, corporate procurement and engineering teams to resolve assigned procurement issues
• Monitor performance of assigned mechanical procurement packages activities assigned by using key metrics and prepare reports
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for timely delivery of assigned mechanical procurement items
• Take lead on assigned procurement matters including but not limited to, monitoring vendors’ progress, tracking claims if any.
• Contribute to ensure that all procurement management process, procedures and plans are in place to effectively control and manage the assigned mechanical packages supply contracts/orders
