Çalık Enerji is operating in Romania, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq and Senegal with its 3 fields of activity; EPC Contracting Operations, Distribution-Retail and Renewable Energy Investments.

We are looking for a Project Controls Lead (Chief) at Çalık Enerji Headquarter Office in İstanbul

Qualifications;

·        Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering

·        At least 7 years of planning, scheduling, estimating and cost control experience in large-scale Power Plant (Renewables, Solar, Wind, Gas Fired Power Plants, etc.), Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals or similar Industrial EPC Projects.

·        Knowledge of contracts and contract administration including its assessment and implementation at each phase of the project

·        Experience with change management and risk management processes is preferred

·        Well proficient in Primavera P6 (essential), Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point) with expertise in Excel.

·        Fluent in English, both verbal and written

·        Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to Project Management Team (PMT), Co-workers, Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors, and other Stakeholders

·        No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description;

·        Prepare, control and update the detailed resource-loaded project schedule on Primavera P6 in accordance with corporate procedures and contractual requirements.

·        Prepare and update project budget, actual cost, SAT, SAS, and payments follow-up on SAP

·        Coordinate with the PMT and Subcontractors to obtain and validate progress data to accurately update the progress measurement system and maintain and update the schedule.

·        Analyse variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, identify delays and communicate the reasons for deviations and proposed mitigation plans to the Project Controls Manager

·        Ensure full integration between the estimating, cost control, planning/scheduling, change management, risk management and document control functions

·        Prepare project reports, including daily, weekly, monthly and corporate management reports

·        Prepare and control progress payment certificates and invoices from/to Subcontractors and the Client.

·        Facilitate preparing and analysing quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) reports and monthly cash flows

·        Facilitate the project risk management and change management processes

·        Prepare comprehensive final closeout reports, including lessons learned and benchmarks for the information repository
