Our group of companies are looking for a qualified accountant, who will support our growing company's needs, to work in our Istanbul office.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting/Finance
  
• Proficiency in English
  
• At least 5 years of accounting experience or tax auditing preferably in a multinational company
  
• Extensive knowledge of Turkish Taxation
  
• Excellent reporting skills
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office Applications, Logo, and accounting programs
  
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  
• Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
  

Job Description

• Preparing accurate statutory accounting and financial statements
  
• Preparing invoices, checks, account statements, reports, general ledger accounts with various registers; extracting general ledger information, compiling cost revenue reports and balance sheets, reconciling bank statements
  
• Analyzing all accounting processes and making appropriate corrections as required
  
• Input general ledger entries for account changes
  
• Running and providing timely and accurate reporting within the deadlines
  
• IFRS understanding is an asset
  
• Preparation of IFRS pages and reports at the end of the month for management review and reporting in a timely and accurate manner within the deadlines
  
• Controlling and booking employee payroll / expense reports based on company and tax rules
• Giving support for bank related tasks, such as providing letter of guarantee and preparing payment orders regarding tender application process where time is of essence
