We are looking for Health and Safety Engineer who is reporting to Health and Safety Chief

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly Safety and Health Reports
• Plan and comply with First Quantum Think! health and safety program standards
• Provide training to the mine rescue crew
• Assist the operation departments in enhancing their safety culture
• Conduct a safety site visit with the relevant supervisors and CPA's
• Adhere to ISO 45001 specifications
• Supply a service to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Manage the operational risks of the site

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Geology or Civil Engineering
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Possessing a license as a safety expert of at least class C or class B
• Having worked in an underground mine for at least three years
• Holding a driving license 
• Expert knowledge of MS Office programs
• Mine rescue training experience is preferred
• Willing to work and reside in Çayeli-Rize
