Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related applied science field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Environmental Management field.
• Occupational Safety and Health Certificate from Ministry (preferred B Class)
  
• Ability to communicate in both written and verbal English,
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment,
• No travel restrictions,
• Military obligation for male candidates must have completed
• Residency in Gebze or Istanbul Anatolian side 

Purpose of Job: Focus on occupational risks, protection and management of business environment and reporting.

Responsibilities

Overall Management of Functional Activities

• Manage & Supervise hazardous-non-hazardous wastes activities and waste water treatment plant on site.
• Manage Waste Water Treatment Plant, Monitor waste water samples and analysis
• Manage and coordinate Safety and Health issues on Site Level
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Clariant guidelines with Environmental Liabilities
• Review and revise environmental priorities, objectives and goals for the site and country
• Manage waste delivery activities from sites and keep data on track.
• Support ESHA management for other ESH related topics

Reporting Functions

• Key Figures data gathering process and entry to the system
• Annual Hazardous waste Declaration, Annual Packaging Waste Inventory,
• Organize and document monthly Occupational Health and Safety Committee Meetings
• Monthly waste inventory reporting to ESHA manager

People Management

• Interact with all levels of organization, key member of ESHA/PS/Site Services
• Interact with GOSB to ensure best representation and obtaining updated information
