Regional Product Stewardship Expert, MB

Product Stewardship, supports for regional and global MB Key Accounts. Ensure compliance of regional PS requirements and marketability of Clariant Masterbatches products, raw materials and traded goods in MEA excluding Turkey.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Support:
  a) First point of contact for regional and global BU Masterbatches key accounts and P/P+ customers, when using products from its region and requesting “Expert Statements”
  b) Respond directly to regional and  global key accounts in this region and send all so-called “Expert Statements” (questionnaires, “black lists”etc)
  c) Provide to the Local PS Site Contact all so-called “PS Standard Documents” (MSDS, Food Packaging etc) and “PS General Letters” for further distribution to local customers in the region
• d) Ensures, that all BU MB Product Stewardship priorities and customer demands are satisfactorily met in the region
• Data Maintenance: 
  a) Evaluate all available raw material supplier documents, correct data input and archiving of  these supplier docs as pdf.files in EHS or in other PS data systems on regional level. Regularly update of all these PS documents from suppliers
  b) EHS release of required legal documents (MSDS+FP) and correct labelling /classification of MB
• People Management:
  a) Ensures continuous improvement of expert knowledge and efficiency
  b) Coordination of all Local PS Site Contacts in the region
  c) Advised in regard to global PS MB Standards by the Global PS Key Contact of BU Masterbatches

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree / University Degree in Chemical Sciences, Chemical Engineering,
• Min 4-5 years of experience preferably in plastic sector having a key role in production, laboratory or quality assurance processes with knowledge on corresponding regulations,
• Competent in Office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word),
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal English, , a second language Arabic, German, French, Italian is an asset,
• Open minded culture, willing to travel 30% in region Middle East & Africa (Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa),
• Military obligation for male candidates must have completed.
