Job Description

• Responsibility and management for the IT network and the topics "IT", "Applications" and "Service Desk" as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure for the Istanbul location
• Strategic and innovative further development of the subject area as well as existing and future systems with regard to the given challenges
• Co-development, tracking and active driving of higher-level strategies coordinated with the headquarters, such as the IT strategy
• Development of the IT strategy in coordination with the management as well as its successful implementation
• Building the areas and creating the structures necessary to achieve our tactical and strategic goals
• Planning, coordination and implementation of demanding IT projects
• Organization of internal IT support and further development of IT support
• Definition, implementation, follow-up and overarching, strategic control of all IT projects with the help of an IT project portfolio management system, including decision-making and coordination of these with management
• Overall responsibility for the qualitative, temporal and cost-related handling of all IT projects with your team
• Overall responsibility for ensuring ongoing operations
• Active control of organizational change management
• Contact person for the Director and level of escalation for the managers within the framework of the activities described above

Job Requirements

•       Completed studies in IT or comparable qualification incl.

•       Leadership experience

•       Practical experience in the implementation of IT projects, ideally as a multi-project manager

•       Good knowledge of network technologies and services: TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP

•       Practical know-how in the management of high-availability IT applications and IT infrastructures

•       Readiness for continuous professional development and familiarization with complex interrelationships

•       Distinctive negotiating skills as well as a confident appearance and self-image as a service provider

•       Reliability, flexibility, high ability to work under pressure, ability to work in a team and independent working methods

•       Sound knowledge of the essential infrastructure systems

•       Experience in IT project management

•       High level of understanding of processes and procedures and their mapping in IT systems

•       Entrepreneurial thinking, flexible and conscientious, analytical way of working

•       Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination

•       Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken; German is a plus
