CMA CGM, Turkey - an agency 100% owned by CMA-CGM Group, is staffed with knowledgeable and motivated industry professionals who work closely with its customers to provide them with the best possible service and high quality transport of their cargo. As a result of expanding our organization, we are currently looking for A/P Officer to join our fast growing and challenging organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To perform all payable accounting and control tasks, including payments for all group entities in close daily cooperation with other sections, departments and Shared Service Centers.
• To communicate and reconcile accounts with all suppliers and other partners.
• A high sense of professional responsibility is required and preferably a prior experience in the same functions.
• Post all supplier invoices after relevant approval is obtained
• Match payments with invoices / credit memos
• Perform account balances reconciliation with partners (third parties and intercos)
• Issue statement of accounts (AP)

REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFIC SKILLS:

• University degree
• Min. +3 years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the legal / regulatory frame
• Knowledge of the accounting process and techniques
• General accounting knowledge
• Prevention of accounting and financial risks
• Risk management knowledge
• Document management and archiving
• Good computer, software and IT applications skills
• Fluent English
• Locating in Istanbul
