QUALIFICATIONS

Coats is the leading industrial thread manufacturer with global brands like Epic, Dual Duty, Astra, Aptan, Gral, Terkosatin, Nylbond, Dabond, Nymo as well as producing zip fasteners with Opti brand name.

Coats’ Turkish subsidiary, Coats Türkiye, is searching for a Process Improvement Engineer to work in the Bursa factory located at the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone.

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering,
• Having min 7-8 years’ experience in a manufacturing company,
• Fluent English both written and spoken,
• Project management skills, 6 Sigma knowledge,
• It is preferable to be Green Belt or Black Belt,
• Good level of Industrial Engineering skills, time analyses, gap analyses,
• Good level of Lean tools, such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean Organization, TPM, SMED etc..
• Knowledge of SAP,
• Strong analytical skills, team worker, creative, excellent communication skills,
• Good planning and follow-up skills,
• Flexible for travels,

Job Description

• Managing projects with using lean and six sigma tools,
• Lean implementations, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, etc..
• Method studies, time analyses, root cause analyses,
• Capacity studies for machinery and labor,
• Management of the routings and SAP updates,
• Digital implementations, benchmarking and bring new technology ideas,
• Being part of the project teams and escalate the problems and support requirements,
• VSM study with the manufacturing team and follow the actions,
• Trainings for the cultural development,
• Monthly KPI reporting.
