We are looking for a Tax and Receivable Accountant for our Finance department of Cochlear Turkey head office, in İstanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor's degree preferably in in Business Administration or Economics

·        1-3 years of experience in Tax and Accounting

·        Advanced level of knowledge on MS office programs

·        Advanced level of  English

·        Knowledge of Oracle preferred

·        Knowledge of Tax Regulations

·        Having analytical thinking, result and quality oriented approach and good communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

TAX:

·        Responsible for timely and accurate filing of company’s all tax returns (CIT, VAT, ie.)

·        Prepare and analyze the company’s statutory financial reports

·        Liaise with tax authorities and providing tax audit support for the company

·        prepare and submit monthly e-ledger reporting, data for the periodical official surveys (Tüik, ie.) and BA &BS reports

·        Follow up VAT refund process

AR:

·        Follow customer account balances and support account reconciliations with customers

·        Analyses of late payments, customer disputes and receivables aging

·        Preparation of AR reports and debtor comments and join global/regional AR calls

·        Preparing management meetings regarding receivables and collections

·        Co-ordination with sales and operations departments to improve the collection processes
