The ideal candidate will have a passion for high tech and the technical ability to fully understand the functionality of ColliCare Logistics products and solutions, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and is an excellent communicator.

 

JOB OVERVIEW

ColliCare Logistics A.S  is currently seeking an ambitious, competitive, and driven Pricing & Inside Sales Support to join the team! The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for quick responses to a large variety of requests for Road , Sea and Air shipment pricing. This position will communicate with domestic and overseas partners to research, gather and compile information to competitively price. As a team member, one will be involved in process development/improvement within the Sales Department and with other departments.

This is a unique position for someone with international freight forwarding experience and the sales “gene.”  This is an inside sales position focusing on diminished business and one-time customers. This position is tasked with building up an existing book of business by selling new International Freight and Transportation Services  to clients in their book. There’s also the opportunity to bring in new accounts.

 

As a member of the Inside Sales team the Inside Sales Account Representative will be the primary business contact for ad hoc pricing requests for ColliCare Logistics’  overseas agents and client's import/export Road, Air and Ocean shipping requests. Will be responsible for sourcing logistics solutions based on the client's shipment parameters while considering the cost/service balance of all ColliCare Logistics partner carriers in order to present the most competitive end to end pricing package. Builds strong relationships with overseas agents and clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Supervise the activities of all Inside Sales Representatives as well as Account Coordinators. Develops service policies, account procedures to ensure consistent client service and satisfaction. Troubleshoots and resolves non-routine client complaints. Resolves major problems with orders, delivery dates or service. Provide clients with reports as scheduled or as needed. Compile and gather data for QBR's and KPI reporting.

Manage customer support – provide quotes, information, pricing, proposals, process sales orders

 

Position Responsibilities:

·         Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.

·         Sourcing new sales opportunities through in/out bound cold calls and emails

·         Research and identify potential customers for products or services.

·         Schedules appointments for Sales Team

·         Work with operations on expedites/cancellations/revised orders requests

·         Ensure accurate order entry into ERP system

·         Act as an extension of the outside sales team when they are unavailable.

·         Point of contact for customers with queries about orders or deliveries.

·         Provide product and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.

·         Proactively engage customers with cross-sell and/or up-sell activities/questions

·         Manage small accounts as assigned, acting as sales representative for customer

·         Proactively quote renewals and support contracts

·         Keep sales team updated on daily actions/activities and assist in managing outstanding quotes and closing them before they expire.

·         Maintain all aspects of client records in CRM database (Salesforce).

·         Provide quality customer service in assisting customers on questions and/or requests.

·         Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives.

·         Attending exhibitions and events as required.

·         Work collaboratively and productively with Operation Department to meet customer needs

·         Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

A day in the life:

·         Work closely with ColliCare Logistics Operations team within assigned territory and review traffic (or other) internal documents to identify sales opportunities

·         Call on existing accounts to obtain repeat shipments – minimum expectation is 2x/month

·         Work to establish excellent client relationships and handle any client issues (elevating to operations for resolution where appropriate)

·         Provide rate updates/quotes to clients

·         Organize client follow up to ensure aggressive call schedules

·         Being proactive and identifying opportunities for improving services, transportation costs, internal/external practices and procedures

·         Lots of emails!

·         Jumping in and assisting with other duties as assigned

This job may be a fit if:

·         Proven success as sales “hunter” who isn’t afraid of hearing No

·         Industry experience strongly preferred (international freight forwarding experience highly desired!)

·         Can work independently but enjoy being a collaborative, team player as well

·         You enjoy solving problems and don’t let them stress you out

·         You can write a darn good email and have a professional demeanor over the phone

·         Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, multi-task, and handle a large volume of work while meeting tight deadlines

·         Experienced with Microsoft products, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·         Experience with Salesforce is a plus
