 This is a very exciting opportunity for an HSE professional, overseeing 3 small distributions and engineering sites based in Istanbul, Nova Pazova and Bucherest.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

• Represent the site as the functional HSEMS Leader
• Identify and evaluates hazardous conditions and environmental risks.
• Lead internal and external HSE audits; resolves complex issues identified in audits; updates HSE management system documentation and communicates revised processes to all stakeholders
• Assist with the application of engineering and administrative controls via the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) to reduce the environmental impacts and safety risks associated with site operations.
• Understand local legislation applicable at the site and is abreast of current emissions control technologies, safety controls and management and response practices.
• Support the collection and reporting of site HSE KPIs for use at the site and Corporate levels. 
• Oversees the HSEMS and day to day operations associated with safety, health and environmental programs such as; setting objectives, personnel training, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping and other associated HSE programs at the site. 

To be successful in this role you will need:

• ·       Existing experience working in a HSE position in a manufacturing or engineering environment with demonstrable knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and regulations
•         Experience with risk management including; hazard analysis tools and techniques
•         Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
•        To be influential with the ability to motivate others to maintain a positive HSE Culture
•         The ability to multi- task and manage a variety of small projects, ensuring implementation in a timely manner
•        Willing to travel to each site on a 6 – 8 weeks basis
•        Knowledge of OHSAS 18011 and ISO 14001 would be beneficial
•        English language skills are imperative to be considered for this position

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

• Ministry of Labor Safety Specialist Certificate (C Class as a minimum)
• You must have high levels of communication skills in English
