PROJECT MANAGER, PRODUCTS

In the Project Manager, Products role, you'll ensure your teams’ delivery success by leveraging the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban/etc.) to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement at CyanGate. The Project Manager will optimize team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team.

General Responsibilities:

• Ensures team(s) to maintain focus on quality and continuous delivery

• Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments and progress

• Understands and coaches the team on delivery controls/compliance to minimize operational/reputational risk

• Understands and supports the product and technical strategies

• Involve in other projects to better understand project management practices

• Engage with other project managers to implement required processes for all company products over time

• Stays current on product roadmap and determines upstream/downstream dependencies and to support the team in risk management

• Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)

• Supports team’s automation (testing, pipelines, deployments)/ DevOps journey

• Integrates Agile & Lean principles into team practices and work products

• Coaches team on backlog refinement and prioritization

• Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve

• Innovates with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their delivery

• Understands and encourages team's innovation and process improvement initiatives

• Coaches the team to improve collaboration and self-organization

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from one of Engineering faculties

• At least 2 years of Agile experience

• Experience in JIRA (or a cloud-based project management tool)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master

• 3+ years of experience facilitating Agile teams on technology projects

• 2+ years of experience using JIRA

• 2+ years of experience managing projects

• 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Architecture projects and Open Source activities

• 1+ year of exposure or experience with release train engineering
