What You’ll Do
- Managing the day-to-day operations at food processing to ensure optimal product quality
- Setting and implementing standards, procedures, and processes for the manufacture of high-quality food products
- Monitoring every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
- Preparing periodic reports to update upper management on food production activities
- Creating work shifts to ensure round-the-clock food production operations
- Maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials and processed food products
- Ensuring products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions
- Ensuring all company regulations and government legislations are adhered to
- Working with vendors and internal functional teams to ensure all development objectives
- Realizing the production schedule in order to provide the finished products with needs of sales and distribution
- Ensuring production activities are carried out within the operation expenses
- Reporting non-conformities, enabling all corrective and preventive actions are taken
- Responsible for all operational metrics in given area of a production line (reliability, reduction of losses that occur in an unplanned manner, scrap etc.)
- Leading loss analysis daily, weekly, monthly, and come up with an action plan
- Building, managing and following up a budget with a benchmarking approach
- Working cooperatively with multi-functional teams on improve plant-wide systems
- Acting as the role model in terms of Safety & Quality
What Nusr-Et Expects
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering faculties or veterinary schools from reputable universities
- Min. 10 years of experience in "meat integrated production facilities" is a must
- Having strong leadership and communication skills, competencies in team management, coordination, and motivating employees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, planning, tracking, and reporting,
- Having a systematic and result-oriented approach to problem-solving and achieving goals
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- High standards of accuracy, being proficient at working with tight deadlines and under pressure, and be able to prioritize tasks
- Self-disciplined, proactive, dynamic, eager to learn and to take on new challenges
- Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills
- Flexible in working hours
